Both of these modules might have compatibility issues. Read the description of the apps properly. And, Android 5.0+ is a must for both these apps. If you’re fine with all of that then let’s dig in.
1. Zeus Contextual Expanded Status Bar Header
With Zeus Contextual Expanded Status Bar header, you can add beautiful images to the status bar depending on what time of the day it is. If it is morning then the image will change accordingly and same for evening and night. This exposed module is developed by the XDA member Thunder07. The images change automatically as the day passes. You can also set your own image as the status bar header. First, you need to enable the option to add custom images. Then you can tap on different time of the day and it will give the option to choose images. If you use a third-party gallery app then you have the option for that too. As it’s a lightweight app it doesn’t have an app icon. So, you also get the option to hide the app icon from the app drawer. Well, you can do that manually too from your launcher. The image will be cropped when placing a new image. One thing to note here is that in some devices the app will only consider the first two grids while cropping. So, make sure you crop the image accordingly. You can also zoom in/out and rotate the image. Here, is at what time the image changes: You don’t get control over the timing. Also, the RestartUI function only works on some phones. You need to reboot your phone to apply new changes. That gets quite annoying after a while.
2. Xstana
Xstana Module will let you change the status bar icons. You can change them to Samsung Galaxy, MIUI, iStyle, Bipop, HTC Sense and many more. After you’ve selected the icon style, you’ll have to reboot. Yes, too many reboots. Also, you have to reboot when you enable the module in Xposed Installer. Many options are blocked behind a paywall. You’ll need to buy the Prime version to unlock some features. With Prime, you can further scale those icons and adjust them in the status bar. Also, you can enable them or disable them. The module supports some Jellybean and Kitkat ROMs too. Check out the full description on the app page. Apart from customizing status bar, you can customize the navigation bar too. And, tons of customization can be done with that. But, with Prime version only. Want More? Check out our list of Best Android Xposed Modules.

So, let us know in the comments if the module worked for you. It definitely works on phone running Android 5.0 and above. I’m not certain if xStana works on Marshmallow. But, Zeus status bar header worked as reported by some users on XDA. You too can report here or on our forums about your experience and help other users.
